Onward! A note from our founder

I’m sure you can relate to this: Just when I thought there was a clear path forward into the fall, I’m finding myself rethinking and rebuilding how we do things at Minni. Again.

While our year-round classes are live, we’re trying to figure out the rest of our programming as we move into a new school year, and a new unknown. When do we bring back workshops? When will it feel safe to have parties again? At times, it has felt almost like we're always starting over. But, fortunately, with the foundation firmly in place from what we began in 2018, we’ve been able to adapt. During this year of constant change, we’ve said goodbye to veteran team members and welcomed amazing new ones, rearranged and reorganized the studios, and successfully ran 10 full weeks of the Minni Summer Program. I couldn’t believe my eyes when I saw a whopping 40 students on a waitlist for the 12 coveted camp spots this week. 😮

To those who’ve spent the summer with us, THANK YOU. Your children and their unbridled creativity and energy is what keeps us going and moving forward.

To those who weren’t early-bird enough, we have a special offer we’re sending your way soon.

And to anyone who doesn’t think your support matters, it absolutely does. Do you love Minni? If so, please tell your friends and friends of friends. When you spread the word about our studio and shop, it keeps us going. Please share our posts and tell your friends about our classes and what you love about Minni. From the day we opened our doors, your word-of-mouth has been the number one thing that keeps us going, even when things are hard.

TBH I’m thrilled to finally take a week off and spend some time outside of the city. In addition to running (and stressing over) Minni, I’ve taken on too many other projects this past year with my design business, which includes co-authoring a book about interior design with my husband (pre-order here 😉), and welcoming a new vizsla pup into our family. I hope you and your family can find some time to savor the last moments of summer, however and wherever you decide to spend it.

Thank you endlessly,

Kelly

P.S. Could you use a creative night out? Should we offer open studio time slots? Who wants more kits? What kinds of projects do your kids ask for? Are you home schooling? How can we work together and collaborate with your pod, bubble or school group? Help us figure out our future by sharing your wants, needs, and desires for your family here!

P.P.S. I hope to see you at our Open House on September 12th (reserve your time slot here)!
