These workshops are designed for the whole family, starting at age 18 months. Each uniquely-themed workshop guides little ones in an exploration of materials and process.

In Minni Family Workshop – Winter Wonderland, students and caregivers will craft and create all the elements of a wintery landscape inspired by first snowfalls and Ezra Jack Keat’s renowned book "The Snowy Day." A Minni instructor will begin with a book reading before guiding students through a selection of icy activities, from creating magical winter wands with sparkling snowflakes to a collaborative soft winter collage. Bundle up and come prepared for our most magical workshop yet.

Take your little one to the moon and back in Minni Family Workshop – Night Lights, a workshop all about starry winter skies and glistening reflections. A Minni instructor will begin with a reading of Papa, Please Get the Moon For Me by Eric Carle before guiding star gazers through a series of sensory activities.
In Minni Family Workshop – Music Makers little musicians and their caregivers will learn how to create all the sounds of music with repurposed and recycled materials found right in the studio. A Minni instructor will guide students through a series of engaging projects focused on tunes + tones, including drumming canvas paintings to the beat, coloring with jingle bells and creating their own shakers.
In our Minni Family Workshop - Happy Hearts little artists and caregivers will be whisked away by playful projects and sensory stations inspired by Valentine’s Day. A Minni instructor will guide participants through a series of sweet activities, including collaborative heart prints, collaged cards and a special book reading. Join us for a creative morning of happy crafting and happy hearts!

"Stick" the kids with us as we host our popular Minni Washi Workshop in a most cheerful and colorful collaboration with renowned Japanese brand MT Washi Tape. We'll explore a suite of sticky properties as little designers ages 4-10 use a veritable rainbow of washi pieces to prance, dot and dasher their way through holiday-themed projects and crafts.
Join us for a festive workshop where little makers ages 4–10 will craft personalized ornamental frames, colorful characters on wooden spoons, and special handmade lanterns to share with lucky loved ones or proudly display at home. In Minni Gift Workshop, an instructor will guide little gift givers on a mission to make unique handmade gifts for loved ones this holiday season. The workshop will wrap (pun intended) as artists craft their own decorative gift bags and wrapping paper!
Ooey gooey fun is a goopy guarantee in this snowy special slime session! Celebrate Winter fun with gooey fluffy concoctions as a range of ingredients are offered up to students to make the most of three different slimey recipes. Unleash your inner scientist and relax; we’ll take care of the mess as students enjoy the rest.
Artists ages 8–12 will enjoy these workshops that build skills and provide a greater challenge. Workshops are focused on personal expression, design sense, and individual interests.
Join us for a cozy creative adventure in our Snowy Shelters Workshop! Designed for tweens ages 8 to 12, this fun-filled workshop invites participants to craft their own winter wonderland. Participants will explore the wonders of nature as they use a variety of mixed media to create their own snowy scenes. From model magic snowmen, to glittery snowflakes, and miniature cozy cabins, the sky’s the limit in this seasonal snowy shelter workshop. Join us for an evening of fun and cozy crafting, and of course, pizza!
Artists ages 8 to 12 are invited to Minni to explore a super fun monoprinting method! A Minni instructor will inspire students to explore texture, layering, and fabulous color combinations as they learn the process of gelatin printmaking. Join us to print your own one-of-a-kind artwork!

Join Minni and CoDesign Collaborative in making a cozy quilt! Families will be guided through the making of colorful patterns with soft felt shapes, fabric glue and simple stitching techniques to make cozy quilts, perfect for snuggling up with a favorite stuffy and a cup of hot cocoa! This is a FREE event funded by the City of Boston Nightlife Economy Department’s grant program.
