We proudly collaborate with local artists whose work relates to playful design. From special exhibitions to products and installations, we aim to connect students with creatives in our community. In this exchange, young artists can start to imagine the variety of possibilities for a working artists, designers, and makers.

Eda French
Every Minni birthday party theme now has a companion coloring page, illustrated by talented Minni instructor and artist Eda French. Each custom illustration features an adorable cast of animal characters on all kinds of adventures. Eda is an educator and practicing illustrator creating colorful and vibrant work in both traditional and digital mediums.

This custom mural by artist educators and longtime friends, Jaimie & Kate (AKA thecollab) is a bold, playful expression featuring the duo’s signature visual language. thecollab uses color, shape and texture as abstract storytelling tools on a variety of surfaces. They are focused on crafting unique, engaging spaces, experiences, and goods that invoke energy, joy, and community.
Minni + TiaKeo/art Coloring Cards
Tia Keobounpheng
The Minni x TiaKeo coloring cards invite artists big and small to enjoy a tranquil yet challenging art-making experience.This collaborative product was inspired by Keobounpheng’s prolific daily practice, which she describes like a moving meditation.
Color Stitch - Break
Margaret Robe
"Color Stitch - Break" by Boston based artist Margaret Robe is a 25’ translation of a small watercolor landscape painstakingly “stitched” together with over 3,000 MT Washi Tape pieces. Designed as a wall covering for Minni’s bright studio, Color Stitch spans the space as a meticulous study of light and color, a mathematical feat and a celebration of the cross stitch.
Trash Rainbows
Jenna Talbott
In August of 2018, after reading about the ‘unexplained mortality event’ affecting East Coast humpback whales, local artist and designer Jenna Talbott made her first permanent trash rainbow collage. Beach Trash Whale, crafted entirely from beach trash found on Wollaston Beach in Quincy, is glued to braced masonite painted with matte interior paint. Jenna now transforms household cleaner caps, straws and even plastic bags into bright works of art.
Feeling Feelings
Elodie Blanchard
“Feeling Feelings” is an artistic representation of a spectrum of emotions and their accompanied colors by artist + designer Elodie Blanchard. In this series of drawings Elodie uses a combination of ink and gouache to reinvent emotions with inspiration from color wheels and emojis.

“Low + Slow” features original illustrations from the popular Lowriders comic book series and the much anticipated ¡Vamos! Let's Go to the Market! by award-winning author and illustrator Raúl The Third.
A Winter for a Fox, or Two
Denise Gunter
In a colorful collaboration with the renowned Japanese brand MT Washi Tape, Minni commissioned an installation inspired by wintery hues and woodlands designed by local artist and teacher Denise Gunter.
Continuous Gradation
Ryan and Kimberly Habbyshaw
“Continuous Gradation” features work by designer duo Ryan and Kimberly Habbyshaw of Loyal Union in Somerville, MA. Bold circle prints form a continuous gradation across a backdrop of pristine white walls, illustrating the scalability of art + design.
Larger + Smallish
Suzy Pilgrim Waters
“Larger + Smallish” presents bold shapes and, in Susy’s own words, “adventures in paint.” Susy is inspired by the boldness of nature and the contrasting elements of urban architecture, both of which she re-interprets with abstract forms and diverse hues.
