Our Minni × OffBits Workshop - Upcycled Robots is sure to get the gears turning as students explore their interests in design and mechanics! In this workshop, a Minni instructor will guide students through the process of designing and constructing with materials provided by our friends, The OffBits, to create their own fantastic robot! Students will experiment with incorporating a range of recycled materials, including, cardboard, fabric scraps + more.

Ooey gooey fun is a goopy guarantee in this slippery slime session! Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with gooey green concoctions as a range of ingredients are offered up to students to make the most of three different slimey recipes. Unleash your inner scientist and relax; we’ll take care of the mess as students enjoy the rest.

In Minni Family Workshop – Green Gradients caregivers and color lovers will celebrate St. Patrick’s Day and every shade of green! A Minni instructor will start the festivities with a book reading before guiding students through a series of tactile activities, including a collaborative gradient mural and green sensory collages. Come one, come all! Dancers, artists, and animal lovers are welcomed to kick off United Dance's upcoming production, Carnival of the Animals & Other Stories in this special collaborative workshop with Minni! Students will start the workshop off with a reading of Carnival of the Animals from a United Dance instructor, followed by animal mask making with a Minni instructor! The workshop will conclude in a movement and dance activity using the animal masks!

Calling all outdoor explorers, foragers, and leaf peepers! Join us for a Minni Nature Workshop creating your own Forest Floor Terrarium. Use natural and craft materials to create your own miniature landscape, complete with tiny toadstools and colorful painted rocks.

Little jewelry designers are welcomed to a bracelet adventure all about winding, looping and stringing together unique beaded creations! A Minni instructor will guide participants through the basics of beading with extra special beads provided by our friends, Names for Good.

In our Minni Family Workshop – Mixing Rainbows workshop, color-loving kiddos will work on identifying all the colors of the rainbow, and then turn to creating bright rainbows of their very own. A Minni instructor will guide the group through a variety of vibrant activities including the mixing and matching of a host of hues, fun with fluffy rainbow cloud dough, and the ultimate production of fuzzy rainbow sculptures!

A Minni instructor will guide participants through a series of sweet activities, including collaborative heart prints, collaged cards and a special book reading. Ages 4–10 “Stick” the kids with us at Minni WashiShop - Valentine’s Edition, a most cheerful and colorful collaboration with renowned Japanese brand MT Washi Tape. We'll explore a suite of sticky properties as little designers ages 4–10 use a veritable rainbow of washi pieces to create unique Valentine’s cards for special loved ones, friends and even classmates!

Up and coming tween illustrators and designers will use a rainbow of valentine colors to create unique Valentine's Day cards for their loved ones in this special tween workshop! A Minni instructor will talk to the idea of lines, color, collage, and mixed media as they create completely original works of card art to send this Valentine's Day.

Add some love to your day at our Comic Zine Workshop with local illustrator Nell Valle, an all-call for cartoonists! Bring your original characters to life this time with a valentine twist! Students will be guided by Nell through the process of storytelling and paneling to the ultimate creation of their own colorful Valentine's Day inspired mini-comics. Each participant will delight in the transformation of simple white boxes into colorful, suspenseful and visual stories.

In Minni Family Workshop – Winter Wonderland, students and caregivers will craft and create all the elements of a wintery landscape inspired by first snowfalls and Ezra Jack Keat’s renowned book "The Snowy Day."

Join the fashion fun by making the coolest couture creations in our Minni Fashion Shop workshop. Fashion Designer Alyssa Tang-Bortnyk will guide little designers and fashionistas through the designing process, from mood board making to styling. Workshop participants will explore their tactile talents by using a variety of colorful paper and fabrics while learning about the many elements of design, including color stories and patterns. Expect a (miniature) culminating runway show!

Create colorful patterns with soft felt shapes, using fabric glue and simple stitching techniques to make your own cozy quilt. Perfect for snuggling up with your favorite stuffy and a cup of hot cocoa!

Artists ages 8 to 12 are invited to Minni to explore a super fun monoprinting method! A Minni instructor will inspire students to explore texture, layering, and fabulous color combinations as they learn the process of gelatin printmaking. Join us to print your own one-of-a-kind artwork!

Minni Community Drop-Ins are designed for the entire family to enjoy creative play and messy materials in our spacious studio. Rotating themed projects focus on open-ended play, material exploration, and a variety of art processes.

Let's get cozy! Artists ages 8 to 12 will get create and sew their own fuzzy friends! A Minni instructor will provide gentle guidance on how to turn felt and fabric into fabulously cute stuffies. Join us for an evening of fun and cozy crafting. No sewing experience necessary!

Take your little one to the moon and back in Minni Family Workshop – Night Lights, a workshop all about starry winter skies and glistening reflections.

A Minni instructor will begin with a reading of Papa, Please Get the Moon For Me by Eric Carle before guiding star gazers through a series of sensory activities inspired by everything shiny and bright, from painting mini moons to collaging original constellations. Join Minni and Crush Boutique & Whitney + Winston on Thursday, November 30th from 6:00–8:00pm for fall-themed activities for little artists, ages 4–10! Drop your kiddos off at Minni where they will be making seasonal splendid works of art as they dive into all things autumn!

In this Family Workshop participants will gather to make the most colorful compositions on stretched cotton canvas. A Minni instructor will show participants how to block out and build layers of color, shapes and pattern using a variety of methods and materials. Grab your loved ones and make your own mixed media masterpiece!
