In this special collaborative Family Workshop with 2 Mindful Girls, students and caregivers will be guided through a series of mindful movements and age appropriate yoga moves with the intention of acknowledging all they are thankful for this season. After setting intentions, little artists will explore a selection of sensory activities including fabric collages and soothing watercolors. Join us for this relaxing workshop ahead of the busy holiday season!

Let's get cozy! Artists ages 8 to 12 will get create and sew their own fuzzy friends! A Minni instructor will provide gentle guidance on how to turn felt and fabric into fabulously cute stuffies. Join us for an evening of fun and cozy crafting. No sewing experience necessary!

In Minni Family Workshop – Fuzzy Fibers students and their caregivers will get cozy in the studio with a selection of soft crafts and warm sensory activities. A Minni instructor will offer gentle guidance as students explore various art making techniques with fuzzy fabrics, warm hued yarns and puffy pom poms. Playful projects will include soft and sticky collages, printing with yarn and a sensory pom pom station. Escape the chill and snuggle up in the studio with your creative little one(s)!

Slime scientists will be lining up for our spookiest and gooiest workshop yet! Grab your cauldrons and join us to create creepy concoctions in our Halloween slime workshop! Students will make the most of three different slimy interpretations of everything Halloween, beginning with fluffy pumpkin slime and concluding with a bubbly witches brew. Let your little one unleash their inner scientist; we’ll take care of the mess as students enjoy the rest.

Join us at Minni's brand new Beacon Hill studio as we celebrate the start of an exciting new chapter and the opening of our new location! Come explore our bright, spacious new studio and meet the Minni team! There will be plenty of snacks and beverages, a collaborative coloring station, and festive fun for the whole family. 

In our Minni Family Workshop- Fall Fest, students and caregivers will enjoy creative fall festivities right in the studio! Students will explore all the crunchy textures and warm hues of fall through a selection of sensory activities inspired by our favorite season. The festivities will kick off with pumpkin painting and wrap up with messy apple printing and leaf collaging. Join us for the most colorful celebration of the season!

Did someone say sharpies?! Artists ages 8 to 12 are invited to Minni to draw and design on canvas materials with fabric markers, and everyone’s favorite permanent marker! A Minni instructor will inspire students to explore surface design by looking at patterns, graffiti, and artists from the Pop Art movent such as Basquiat and Keith Haring. Join us to design your own one-of-a-kind accessory! Workshop participants will take home a one-of-a-kind pencil case, pencil & sketchbook (up to 2 per participant).

"Stick" your little designers with us for Minni Washi World, a design adventure where little artists ages 4–10 will dream up, build out, and beautify their very own washi tape worlds. From miniature towns to creative interiors, kids will explore the imaginative possibilities of this cheerful, colorful tape as they design environments using patterns, textures, and tiny tape-sized details. A Minni instructor will dive into the dazzling world of design, learning how to use lines, shapes, and color to create dimension and charm.

Beep beep! Little artists and their caregivers are invited to hop aboard for a vibrant afternoon of yellow-filled fun in our Minni Family Workshop – School Buses & Brushes. Inspired by the colorful charm of school buses, and the infamous “Wheels on the Bus”, this hands-on workshop will explore bold yellow hues through painting and playful textile exploration. Discover how color, shape, and 3D textile materials come together to create art that’s full of energy and motion.

Participants ages 4–10 will stick, unstick and play with patterns to create unique graphic designs and one-of-a-kind signs just for dad. Get ready to move to the rhythm! In partnership with the Esplanade Association, visit Minni’s table for fun-filled and on theme crafting during the concert. Held at the iconic DCR Hatch Memorial Shell along Boston’s Esplanade for Salsa at the Shell, join us for an unforgettable evening of live Latin music, youth-powered talent, and community celebration.

Join Minni on First Fridays in April + May, for a collaborative community drop-in with local dance studio Urbanity to participate in art-making and dancing! Urbanity will run a 20 min dance class at the top of each hour. This is a great opportunity to tour the Minni South End studio, and learn more about our upcoming Minni x Urbanity Summer Programming. 

In our Minni Family Workshop – Garden Party little gardeners will learn how to plant marigold seeds and paint a terracotta pot with their caregiver. A Minni instructor will commence the garden party with a book reading before guiding participants through the painting and planting process. Playful stations on the side will include printing with petals and a special sensory garden.

In this Family Workshop, participants will have so much farm fun! A Minni instructor will show participants how to work together to create a barn that they will decorate and fill with farm animals! Create cute and cuddly farm animals using a variety of methods and materials. In addition, students will delight in a farm-themed sensory bin. Grab your loved ones and come spend a creative morning on Minni's farm! 

Dive into the vibrant world of mixed media collage and visual storytelling! Tweens are invited to learn the artistic process of using shapes, patterns, and images to plan dynamic compositions, and explore how to translate summer aspirations into a compelling visual narrative.

Minni is excited to be once again participating in this year's Duckling Day celebrations! Hosted by The Friends of the Public Garden, in association with the City of Boston Parks and Recreation Department, Duckling Day is a beloved tradition of more than 30 years, celebrating the classic children's book, "Make Way for Ducklings" by Robert McCloskey.

Spend the day with the ones you love and learn how to create an everlasting flower bouquet with our Minni Family Workshop - Mother's Day Edition! A Minni instructor will guide families through the process of creating, painting, and gluing their own small bouquet of gorgeous up-cycled flowers using egg cartons!

In collaboration with local mosaic tile company Artaic, artists will take upcycling to the next level in this fun mosaic frame workshop! Using post-industrial / pre-consumer remnant material, a Minni instructor will guide students through the process of decorating picture frames or mirrors. Students will work with porcelain and glass mosaic tiles to create something special for themselves, or to gift to someone else!
