In collaboration with local mosaic tile company Artaic, artists ages 8 to 12 will take upcycling to the next level in this fun mosaic frame workshop! Using post-industrial / pre-consumer remnant material, a Minni instructor will guide students through the process of decorating picture frames or mirrors. Students will work with porcelain and glass mosaic tiles to create something special for themselves, or to gift to someone else!
Minni Tween Workshops are for artists ages 8 to 12 as their next step in art exploration. They will explore new techniques, hone their skills, develop their own artistic voice(s). . and have fun too! Each workshop includes materials for individual and collaborative projects and because these are at dinnertime, cheese pizza! Participants are encouraged/invited to bring a water bottle and their own nut-free meal or snack if pizza isn't their favorite!
