Class Highlight: Minni Woodworkers

Minni classes for children ages 6–10 are designed just for fearless innovators, curious creatives and original thinkers. Weekly projects focus on problem-solving and real-world applications of art and design. Regular field trips to local furniture showrooms, nearby artist studios and neighboring galleries will provide tangible inspiration.

Our Minni Woodworkers class offers all the tools and techniques to construct, cut and create original structures and sculptures. Kid-approved tools and materials will be used to explore a range of projects while real skills will be tested as students learn to set screws, measure, saw and hammer. We’ll teach the skills necessary for your young builder(s) to take their ideas from blueprint to birdhouse!

You can expect

  • Woodworking skills + techniques

  • Building + engineering

  • Color theory + painting

This year’s Minni Woodworkers class has ended, but don’t miss your chance to sign up for 2021–22 Minni Woodworkers here!
