Minni Make + Play – Nature Lovers (Virtual) 

Ages 1.5–5 

Private Minni Make + Play online workshops are designed to keep little ones ages 1.5–5 creating from the comfort of home. Each themed virtual workshop focuses on skill development, simple repurposed materials and unique ways to engage with our environments.

In Minni Make + Play – Nature Lovers (Virtual) participants will celebrate spring and the summer sun with natural materials and found objects. Instructor Maria will emphasize pattern, color palette and process as students explore printmaking methods using a selection of objects collected from nature.

Materials 

• Objects found in nature to print with, such as acorns, sticks, small rocks, leaves, fruit and shells. We encourage a walk outside before this workshop!  

• 1 tray or plate containing yellow, blue and white tempera paint (you can also make your own paint with 1 part flour, 1 part salt, 1 part water and a few drops of food coloring)

• Another tray or plate containing yellow, red and white tempera paint 

• 2 pieces of paper

• Optional: Paint brush

Home Studio Set-Up

Be sure to cover your work surface with paper and stock your at-home studio with paper towels and extra trays to easily combat messes.
