Minni CollageShop – Monochrome Masterpieces (Virtual)

Ages 4–10 

Minni’s private online workshops are designed to keep little ones ages 4–10 creating from the comfort of home. Each themed virtual workshop focuses on skill development, simple repurposed materials and unique ways to engage with our environments. 

In Minni CollageShop – Monochrome Masterpieces (Virtual) participants will use a variety of recycled + repurposed materials to create a unique multi-media work of art celebrating every shade of their favorite color. Instructor Maria will guide expert colorists on their colorful course as they learn about shapes, composition and pattern.

Materials 

• Cardstock, thick paper, or cardboard to collage on

• Various collaging materials of the same color – Materials may include magazine pages, fabric scraps, old artwork, yarn and construction paper.

• Glue sticks or Elmer’s Glue (optional: color your Elmer’s Glue with food coloring or any kind of paint) 

• Paint brush or Q-Tip if using Elmer’s Glue

• Trays for glue and materials 

• Scissors

Home Studio Set-Up

Be sure to cover your work surface with paper and stock your at-home studio with paper towels and extra trays to easily combat messes.
