MANDATORY SAFETY STANDARDS AT MINNI

The health and safety of our creative community is of the utmost importance to us, and we continue to take measures to reduce the spread of COVID-19 in our spaces.

Minni is strictly complying to all guidelines for maintaining social distancing, hygiene protocols, and cleaning and disinfecting as described by the government. We will continue to review updated public health guidance as it is made available, and will continue to re-evaluate our safety protocols as necessary.

All staff, students, families and visitors must comply with all standards listed below.

Students + Families

• All Minni programs are now mask-optional. This decision was made following updated guidance from the Massachusetts Department of Public Health as well as the Boston Public Health Commission’s recommendation that Boston Public Schools lift their mask mandate.

• By attending a program at Minni, you are certifying that in the past 10 days, you, your child, members of your household, and close contacts have not experienced symptoms associated with COVID-19, have not had a known COVID-19 exposure, received a positive COVID-19 test, and are not awaiting COVID-19 test results.

• If you, your child, or members of your household have been exposed to Covid-19, you may continue to attend Minni programming as long as you remain asymptomatic, and test negative. We ask that while exposed, you mask while attending Minni programming until Day 10 of the exposure. It is recommended that the exposed person test on Day 6 of exposure. If symptoms develop, follow the guidance for symptomatic individuals.

• We ask that you, your child, or members of your household not attend Minni programming when symptomatic and/or positive for COVID-19. If you, or members of your household are symptomatic and are picking up your asymptomatic child (that also has a negative test result) that you please where a mask while picking up the child.

• If you, your child, or members of your household test positive for COVID-19 please follow isolation and masking guidelines set forth by the state of Massachusetts before returning to Minni.

• Parents, caregivers and students must thoroughly wash hands upon entering the building. A Minni Instructor will lead all students in washing their hands thoroughly and regularly throughout the duration of each in-studio program.

• We encourage anyone who is eligible to get vaccinated and to consider continuing to wear a mask if you or someone you live with are unvaccinated, immunocompromised, and/or otherwise at increased risk.

• All students should be aware of health and safety protocol before entering the space. These standards are clearly communicated in regular emails by Minni. We encourage all parents to communicate expectations with their child(ren) before entering our space.

• Parents, caregivers and students must stay home if they feel unwell. We encourage parents, caregivers, and students to mask even if they are experiencing cold and flu symptoms.

Minni Staff

• All Minni employees are fully vaccinated.

• All Minni employees are required to attend regular work trainings regarding social distancing and hygiene protocols.

• All Minni employees are required to regularly and thoroughly wash hands.

• All Minni employees must stay home if they feel unwell or if they have been exposed to someone who tests positive for COVID-19.

• All Minni employees will test regularly, particularly in the event of symptoms, travel, or exposure.

Please note: If your child has a medical condition that puts them at high risk for severe illness of COVID-19, it is critical that you provide a letter of clearance to attend a program from your child’s healthcare provider. If someone in your child’s household is high-risk, we highly recommend consulting with your physician to determine if a Minni program is appropriate for your family.

A parent or guardian must complete our mandatory waiver before their child can participate in any in-studio programming at Minni.
