MINNI CLASSES – BEACON HILL
Ages 6+
Minni classes for children ages 6 and up are designed just for fearless innovators, curious creatives and original thinkers. Weekly projects focus on problem-solving and real-world applications of art and design. Regular field trips to local furniture showrooms businesses, nearby artist studios and neighboring galleries provide tangible inspiration.
Ages 6–10
These are semester-long classes, each class is part of a comprehensive curriculum meant to build upon skills developed from one week to the next.

Beginning in Fall 2023, Minni will require full semester participation and will no longer offer single class drop-ins or class pack registrations. Each class is part of a comprehensive curriculum meant to build upon skills and projects developed from one week to the next. If you register after the semester has commenced, the price will be automatically pro-rated for only the remaining dates.

Minni Designers
Minni Designers classes offer a comprehensive look into the world of design as students construct soaring skyscrapers, engineer miniature playground structures, and create imaginative interiors. Designers are encouraged to experiment with materials while expressing their own original thoughts and ideas. Map out your model and create a distinctive wonder of the world!

Minni Inventors
Minni Inventors classes transform the art studio into the most colorful science lab as curious experimenters and engineers build bots and mix up gooey slimes. Inventors learn the many ways art and science converge as they measure and test their own hypotheses. Time to unleash your inner scientist!

Minni Sketchers
Minni Sketchers classes offer a survey of the many exciting applications of line and mark. Students learn sketching fundamentals from contour drawing to shading, explore a variety of materials from charcoal to oil pastels, and be inspired by a range of artistic traditions and contemporary artists. Lessons include both observational and imaginative drawing along with real-world applications of sketching from comic books to fashion illustration to architectural perspective renderings.

Minni Woodworkers
Our Minni Woodworkers class offers all the tools and techniques to construct, cut and create original structures and sculptures. Kid-approved tools and materials are be used to explore a range of projects while real skills are be tested as students learn to set screws, measure, saw and hammer. We teach the skills necessary for your young builder(s) to take their ideas from blueprint to birdhouse!

Minni Stitchers
Minni Stitchers class offers little designers all the tools and techniques to strengthen their sewing skills. Students will design and create pillows, unique apparel and stuffies while learning about basic hand sewing stitches, and techniques in hand embroidery and appliqué. Reinvent your latest fashion find and explore the most exciting textile trends! Sewing materials provided.
