Minni launches Tuition Assistance

Dear Minni Community,

Over the past year, Minni has been through a lot of change. We consolidated, refocused, and worked hard behind the scenes to build a stronger foundation for the future. It was a bit of a roller coaster at times, but we ended the year in a much healthier place. Now, we’re feeling more committed than ever to what Minni was created to do: make creative education accessible to as many children as possible.

One of the things I’m most excited to share this season is the launch of our Tuition Assistance Program.

Through our partnership with the nonprofit Mobile Makers, we’re beginning to offer a limited number of program credits to families who could benefit from additional support. This year, we’ll be distributing about $10,000 in tuition assistance in the form of $500 and $250 credits that can be used toward classes, workshops, and vacation programs.

This is something I’ve wanted to build for a long time. We hear from families every year who want to be part of Minni but need a little help to make it possible, and I’m so proud that we’re finally able to take this first step.

As a small business, we’re starting modestly, and we’re actively looking for donors and sponsors to help us grow this program over time. Because of our fiscal sponsorship with Mobile Makers, contributions are tax-deductible and go directly toward opening our doors to more young artists. I’m so grateful for this community, for sticking with us through the ups and downs, for showing up for your kids, and for believing in the importance of creativity. Watching children discover confidence, curiosity, and joy through making is what keeps all of us going.
