Let’s get started!
Steps
1. We love that Chunkies Paint Sticks wash off surfaces easily as artists work, but this also makes them perfect for window art!
Use paint sticks directly on your window to draw seasonal decorations
Easily remove it with water or window cleaner and a paper towel
2. Our second unexpected use of Chunkies Paint Sticks is to create a portable, low mess watercolor painting:
invite artists to create a design on mixed media paper with paint sticks
invite students to use water and a paint brush to transform their paint stick design into a watercolor artwork
3. As a third option, use paint sticks to transform recycled cardboard. While traditional tempera paint warps cardboard and takes hours to dry, paint sticks go on opaque, even on brown cardboard, and dry in minutes, so artists and designers can start constructing their colorful creations right away! We love using these to:
create unique 3D sculptures
make masks
design and construct tiny box houses
decorate gift boxes
