Growing Community through Creativity

Minni’s iFundWomen Campaign

At Minni we love creating programs taught by professional artists, designers, and educators. Minni was created in response to a decade-long decline in arts education funding, a noted shortage of creative spaces for children, and a dearth of design courses for preschool and elementary students. But we have some ideas to change that!

First, our tried-and-tested curriculum is process and technique driven and is novel in its 360-degree integration of design principles and vocabulary. Additionally, we offer a beautiful community space, accessible through open studio drop-ins, parties, workshops, corporate events, exhibitions, and pop-ups.

Since opening, Minni has collaborated with a number of school partners. Now, we’re ready to bring Minni’s method of early art and design education into even more Boston schools. Through a percentage of retail sales and foundation grants—and our crowdfunding campaign—we are working to grow a scholarship fund to support programming to hundreds of children annually in underserved local communities.

To make this dream happen, we need your help! To support this expansion, we’re raising funds through iFundWomen. This platform is similar to other crowdfunding sites like Kickstarter or GoFundMe, but with a particular focus on empowering female entrepreneurs. This limited time campaign will only be running the month of June. We’re offering rewards from our custom tote bag created with thecollab, to full scale private events, and more! We welcome contribution at any level.

We are eternally grateful to our community’s support of Minni in our first four years in business, for spreading the word about this project, and for helping bring this vision to life. Please check out our iFundWomen campaign to learn more about our vision and how you can be a part of it!

Thank you, thank you, thank you!
