3D Beach Ball Collage

Your summer project is here! 🏖

Celebrate summer and follow these simple steps to create your own 3D beach ball out of folded paper! On a hot summer day, this project will keep your little artist cool indoors. This project is best for ages 4+.

Materials 

• 3 white cardstock circles and 3 colors cardstock circles cut to equal sizes. For best results, use papers of equal weight

• Glue stick

• Multicolored collage paper

• String

• Hole punch

Let’s get started! 

Steps 

1. Carefully fold each of your cardstock circles in half.

2. Decorate the colored circles with collage materials. For an extra challenge, try creating monochromatic collages by matching your collage scraps to the background (red with red, blue with blue, etc.)

3. Glue the circles together, alternating between colored pieces and white

4. Your 3D beach ball is ready! If you would like to hang your beach ball, use a hole punch at the top and attach a string to display.
