Minni Make + Play – Spice Paintings (Virtual)

Ages 1.5–5 

Private Minni Make + Play online workshops are designed to keep little ones ages 1.5–5 creating from the comfort of home. Each themed virtual workshop focuses on skill development, simple repurposed materials and unique ways to engage with our environments.

In Minni Make + Play – Spice Paintings (Virtual) little chefs will mix up fragrant paints using a variety of spices found at home. Instructor Maria will guide students as they explore their kitchen cabinets and create original scented works of art.

Materials 

• Spices such as cinnamon, turmeric, ginger and paprika

• White tempera paint (you can also make your own paint with 1 part flour, 1 part salt and 1 part water)

• Bowls to mix spices in

• A few spoons, one for each bowl

• Paint brushes

• White paper to paint on

• Small container with water 

Home Studio Set-Up

Be sure to cover your work surface with paper and stock your at-home studio with paper towels and extra trays to easily combat messes.
