In the Gallery : A mural all about wintery woodlands and Washi Tape.

In a colorful collaboration with the renowned Japanese brand MT Washi Tape, Minni commissioned an installation inspired by wintery hues and woodlands designed by local artist and teacher Denise Gunter. Her intention was to create a piece that focused on the relationship between line and geometrical shapes; in particular the reaction that takes place when they intersect. Inspired by the visual optics of Daniel Steegmann Mangrané and Bridget Riley with the subtlety of Agnes Martin, “A Winter for a Fox, or Two” is meant for any audience, a sentiment that both Minni’s mission is founded upon and one that the playfulness of MT Tapes inspires.
