Minni Party FAQ


Q: What is the maximum number of children for a birthday party?

A: Our party capacity is 16 children ages 2 and up. We can accommodate 20 children for a $25 fee for each additional child. Siblings ages 2 and under are welcome to explore books, blocks and simple coloring in our Creative Play lounge for free.

Q: Does Minni accommodate drop-off parties?

A: Yes! Our drop-off parties are for ages 5 and up, and we require a caregiver of each participant to complete our standard waiver 2 weeks prior to the big day.

Q: What is the party structure?

A: We commence the celebration with 15 minutes of coloring in a special birthday book in our Creative Play lounge. Once all participants have made their own contribution to the birthday book, a Minni instructor will bring all participants into the studio for 1 hour of themed art activities. We reserve 30 minutes for cake + celebration and another 15 minutes for farewells and departure.

Q: What art projects can we expect at our party?

A: We have a list of projects by age group and theme. Party participants will enjoy 2 themed art activities, a collaborative mural featuring the chosen color theme and an additional Exploration Station with art materials galore.

Q: Can I request a specific art project or theme?

A: We work from a list of trialed and tested art projects sure to satisfy your little one’s unique creative cravings. We can accommodate custom themes for an additional $200 + tax.

Q: What time can I arrive on the day of the party?

A: Birthday families are welcome to arrive 30 minutes before their party starts for setup. Our space is colorful and bright, requiring minimal decorations. Minni staff are responsible for decorating the lounge wall + letter board with balloons in the selected color theme, hanging a complimentary birthday banner in the lounge and setting our large wooden farm table with cake plates, napkins, cups and forks.

Q: Can we bring our own decorations?

A: Yes! Special birthday banners, table runners and additional decor are welcome. The client is responsible for the set up of additional decorations.

Q: Can we bring our own speakers to play music?

A: Save yourself the trouble! We have bluetooth speakers in our lounge. Please ask your instructor how to connect your device during the party.

Q: Are parents welcome to stay and are alcoholic beverages permitted?

A: Birthday parties should be fun for parents too! Parents are welcome to relax in our lounge and enjoy grown-up beverages provided by the birthday child’s family.

Q: Can Minni coordinate catering for us?

A: We do not offer catering at this time. Birthday families are responsible for all food and beverages.

Q: Can we bring refreshments and food for our guests?

A: Yes! Food + refreshments are permitted in our lounge for celebration and snacking. The client is responsible for catering arrangements and food set up.

Q: Is parking available?

A: There is free 3 hour parking at the large lot at 367 Albany Street. Guests will need to take a ticket at the entrance. A $25 flat rate will be applied after the 3 hour time slot. If you’re partying on a Friday, we recommend parking at 324 Albany Street for $2.50 an hour.
